AGM 2018

Well, what a year!
No-one could say we have a boring committee ! From the ongoing (and expected!) excellence of the gallery and it’s workshops, a slowly evolving Pix in the Stix, a Boisterous Big Night In, and a challenging May play (Murder, stockings and suspenders) Gacci has achieved a lot this year. On behalf of the members, and the general arts loving community of Gloucester, much clapping a of hands and effusive praise! Thank You
Our small group, supported by countless volunteers, artists, actors and musicians, has been energetic and determined in carrying out our objective : to facilitate, develop and grow , the arts in our community. We have advanced our relationship with council and thus strengthened our financial position. We have also worked hard ourselves, in raising funds to continue our aims.
I have enjoyed (mostly!) the challenge of this position, as well as the ideas that often race around our meetings. They are thought provoking and stimulating, sometimes fiery, never boring!. I thank all of the executive for the work done at home, behind the scenes, that keeps us going. You make us look professional, engaged and vibrant.
I encourage the group to widen our appeal and our offerings. From perhaps country banjo players to the temptations of the sensual . From private intimate portraiture , to loud street art and interaction with main street business. To try new things.
I know you want to do it......President: James Hooke
Vice President: Chris Steele
Secretary: Anne Keen
Treasurer: Georgia Britton
