Creative contemporary Basketry with LYN BEMET proudly supported by the Gloucester School of Arts and the Regional Arts Country Art Support Program
DAY 1. LOMANDRA VESSELS/BASKET WORKSHOP
Date .....Monday.....May 13th in the Gallery, 25 Denison St,Gloucester.Time......10 till 3Cost.......$45 per person (or $85 for the two days)
This workshop using Lomandra is suitable for all, including beginners who have never attempted basketry before. All stages of this process will be covered & although only one style of weaving is involved the results will be varied. Raffia may also be incorporated.
All materials will be supplied & Coffee & tea provided.You may wish to bring beads, shells (with holes), pods etc. for final embellishment.Booking are essential as numbers are limited and payment is required at time of booking thank you.

Date.....Tues. May 14th in the Gallery, 25 Denison St, Gloucester.Time.....10 till 3Cost..... $45 per person (or $85 for the two days)
Create a small sculpture or vessel with vines & cotton using a random weaving technique.This workshop is suitable for beginners or those who just wish to try something different.
Most materials are supplied, Coffee and tea are provided, however you will need to bring ....1. Secateurs or large old scissors.2. A towel3. Embellishments (optional)
