Anke de Reuver and Jo Ernst, two very different artists, explore the integratioin of old and new, nature and humanity.

Jo Ernst "I have long found solace in the companionship of the creek. Over the last few years we have been through a lot together. While sometimes quiet and still, and other times wildly distorting, the creek has survived devastation, remains exhilarating and beautiful, and is the primary inspiratin behind the collection of works for this exhibition".

Anke De Reuver "sees the potential of creativity in a diverse range of materials, transforming the mundane into exciting and often whimsical artworks. Her inspiration mostly comes from the environment - flora, fawna or the landscape. Her adage is 'Add a bat'".
