Yarning, Weaving and Dyeing with Local Native Plants

Yarning, Weaving and Dyeing with Local Native Plants
The weaving workshop led by Renee Molineaux will provide participants with an opportunity to be part of a yarning circle, while engaging in traditional weaving techniques and learn about dyeing with Australian botanicals. The morning tea will showcase how local bush foods can be used in a contemporary diet.
Gloucester Gallery will be hosting the annual Cultural Exhibition during these workshops, providing a culturally rich and meaningful space. Participants will gather to form a yarning circle, a safe and respectful space for storytelling, sharing, teaching and learning. This gathering will foster connection, personal growth, and a deeper appreciation of cultural traditions.
