Debra Liel-Brown

Acrylics on paper.

Meditation has been a dominant factor in Debra's art. She uses it to produce paintings that are designed to slow down and still the viewer's mind. At first glance, the paintings appear quite busy, but then the interlocking rhythms pull the viewer's eye through the scene.

Debra has been exhibiting her work in group shows since 1975 and her first solo exhibition in 1986 at Nidus Gallery in Sydney, was a sellout. Debra has continued to exhibit over the years and also has an impressive list of mural works to her name. Debra will be in the gallery on each Saturday and Sunday of her exhibition and welcomes visitors to come in and talk to her about her art.

Debra has her own studio in Raymond Terrace where she also welcomes visitors.
