Fred Bullen's inspiration comes from the local Mid Coast area and the urban landscape which are reproduced in a traditional or one of many styles such as ‘abstract realism’. His most recent works have been described as having been executed “by an artist who has developed his own style based on an intuitive execution. The suburban landscape is rendered with bright colours, ambiguous and distorted perspectives and strange juxtapositions suggest an imagined or dreamed reality.” Fred’s greatest pleasure comes from hearing that an artwork has unlocked a heartfelt memory for the viewer.
Tracey Sales grew up in Port Macquarie, surrounded by its beautiful natural landscape. The environment has always been a significant influence on her work and art has been a lifelong passion. Tracey paints in oils and acrylics and has a strong passion for mixed media. Her work often explores patterns, textures and light bringing depth and vibrancy to her creations. Creating art brings Tracey immense joy. She treasures the moments when her work resonates with someone, touches their heart and brings them happiness.
