GLOUCESTER HIGH SCHOOL HSC

GLOUCESTER HIGH SCHOOL HSC

Six students sat for the HSC Visual Arts this year in GHS. All student produced excellent work from their efforts despite the interruption to the continuity of the course thanks to COVID-19.

Emily Dulihanty, Anneka Hooke, Leon Mackintosh, Lilly Ryll, Owen Tomlinson and Holly Willis were the 6 students.

Each student had approximately 12 months to settle on an idea for the Body of Work then develop the complexity of the chosen subject by building layers of idea and technique in order to impress the markers so they can achieve a good result.

Overall they all produced a very strong Body of Work for their final examination in their HSC.

Owen and Holly both produced and submitted Time Based artworks in the form of short videos that followed their selected theme.

Anneka Hooke:  "Voyage de la Femalle" (The Female Journey)

Emily Dulihanty:  "Vital and vanishing"

Leon Mackintosh:  "Les Yeux Societaux"

Lilly Ryll:  1. "Terminal Fracture" and 2. "The Colours We Leave Behind"

Holly Willis:  "Pulchritudinous Power"

Owen Tomlinson: "Kinesiology"
